anyone ever used armor all extreme tire shine gel on their dash?  if not, try it out.  it gives a good shine, and lasts forever.  you just gotta get it on there even to prevent streaking, but i used it on the truck about a month ago, and it still looks good

I don't shine the dash because it causes glare and reflections on the windshield when you drive in the sun. Just thinking about safety while driving. Gotta put the shades on.

never had any reflection with mine.  if your windsheild is clean enough inside and out, shouldnt be a problem

i know what u mean vince, everytime i shine up the dash in da fox, i get "the glare!"

nick i think it may have something to do with the angle of the windshield/dash in our cars...

If you don't shine the top of the dash, glare shouldn't be a problem. If you didn't already notice, most cars have a satin finish on the top of the dash that faces up toward the windshield to reduce the chance of glare.
just put dash covah......lol

That's what I have.

I have a 04 that I have the glare problem.  I also had the same issue in my 99, but i will not stop putting it on my dash, because i noticed it only happens during certain times of the day and it is not so bad that you can't see.  It just can be annoying.  I have used F 21 Formula 2001 Super Protectant T97R by Turtle Wax for the last 13 years.  I think is the best out.  It washes out, does not stain and it water base.  When I have tried using tire products, I realized they are messy and alot of them are oil base.  You can also use this product on tires and it will wash off easy and does not attract road dirt like other products

ah, didn't think about that.  on the 01 i didn't have that problem, didn't think of the dash/windshield angle.  good thinking
