Great photos. Did you make the entire run from Hilo to Kona with all the events as well? And did Dennis Gage of "My Classic Car" showe up as scheduled to film the event for "My Classic Car" on Speed TV. Also, did Bob McClurg attend to shoot it for a Mustang magazine article?

Don, the "Cruise Paradise 2009" started on friday 6/26 and runs everyday with events thru sunday 7/5. I could not take off from work, so I'm just doing the weekend stuff. I did the "poker run" on saturday 6/27 from Hilo to Kona via Waimea route. Stayed overnight and did the beach cruise and car show in Waikoloa on sunday.
Bob, who now lives in Hilo, shot the cruise and car show. He even found a buyer for his mustang bullitt. Bob was very instrumental in aquring over $* (think, should not say) thousand dollars of prizes thru his many mainland contacts.
Dennis, like bigislandstang said, will be filming at the Hilo show this saturday 7/4, to air sometime this winter/spring. I think he landed today with his crew, and staying for about 6 days here in Hilo.
Today they had poker run cruise from Kona to Hilo via the Kau route. Tomorrow they'll do a cruise to the Volcano National Park. Cruise to Hamakua on friday with a Cruise Nite at the Plaza. Hilo car show on saturday, and finally a luau in Hilo on sunday. More info at
