Anyone have experience with these?

Took me forever to install but it has a noticeable difference. The car is more neutral, has better traction and made the car quieter and the driveline vibration a lot less.

Question. The arm seems to be preloaded a fair bit and that concerns me some.  Is that ok?

Which TA did you install, and was a panhard bar also part of the deal? Pre-loaded? Does that mean it's biased or likes to twist to one side? IIRC, you're supposed to step up to a higher rear spring rate after installing a torque arm/panhard combo.

If you want a EVM tri-link, can check e-bay or other forums. I think one of the guys on the Mustang drifting forums is changing his out for a Cobra IRS...

I have the global west one.... known as the "trash link" and their TBF-1 lower control arms. I called them today, they said that because the car is so low I would need to adjust the pinion angle.  Im gonna raise the back a little. I took it up to tantalus about 30 min ago and this thing makes a huge difference!! When the tires break it doesnt just float anymore, but starts to finally burn the rubber and the side bite in the corners is great!! Im sure its not as good as a MM but for my 100% street car this thing makes me happy!!

No heavier springs for me its pretty neutral and I think heavier springs is gonna make it over steer a bunch.

Worried about the preload because....the front mount bolts to the sheet metal and not subframes.

Not too keen on that last bit of info. Do you have subframe connectors and is attaching the mount to fabbed brackets welded to the sfc's possible? I wonder if any one has damaged their floor pan with one of these and what kind of solutions were found? Guess all you can do is inspect the area on a regular basis.

Lots of guys say it has damanged torn the floor pan, and some say it hasn't. I've read about people welding additional sheet metal to the floor pan. It worries me a little bit too.....but then I again the lower control arms are mounted to the sheet metal and the uppers are tacked on up top. We'll see!

That's cool and I'll take your word for it. Wouldn't want to get motion sick or something, because the results would definitely not be cool.

Revisiting this.

Im finally upping the spring rates all around. Going with 350lbers up front and 250 out the back (from 300 and 210).

Opinions on how this is gonna ride?

Since Im going in and Ill have the 300s on the side... Whats the opinion of trying those in the rear?

After driving the car around for a bit, I noticed that the car has excellent sidewall bite, but to the point that when it lets go it violently snap oversteers.

I over zealously opened it up on the freeway when changing lanes once this summer.... so wasnt going exactly straight. When the car started to fishtail It was really hard to control with it violently snapping side to side.

Is this what the higher rate springs in the rear are supposed to help with?
