When you say died, what exactly are you saying?  Sorry, if you give more info, someone will be able to help you better.  Where is the car located?  What type of car is it?  I guess you bought new plugs already.  How did you come to the conclusion that it is the plugs?  Inquiring minds want to know.

it stopped running on him it is a 98 ford ranger yes we did get new plugs but wwe dont have to tools for it its at the bottom of the hill in a parking lot on Fort Shafter I came to the conclusion after checking his battery, starter and alternator only thing left that would keep it from running or starting again is the spark plugs i checked it this morning its turning over but not starting s=thought it was the starter till i checked it out all connections are good and its getting good volltage so the only thing left is the plugs new alternator and new battery they have good voltage too

$150.00 to pull plugs?!  That's crazy.  Start with the basics, fuel and spark.  Make sure there is fuel getting to the injectors, if it is check the spark.  You can use a new spark plug to check it.  Pull on wire off any plug, ground it and watch for a spark.  I think I'll lean towards it being a fuel issue.

Is this a 4 or V6 motor?  When the motor turns over, does it spin the same as it did when it ran or does it spin faster?  If it spins faster, check the timing belt or chain, not sure which one this one has.  If it spins faster than normal, could the timing belt or chain need to be changed.

survey says it was the fuel Pump Relay Switch checked the fuse box its blowing fuses there as soon as you turn the key to "ON".  Its exactly what i was afraid of.  Anyway because Ive never done anything with fuel pumps and dont wanna screw it up my buddy decided to just take it to Firestone they said they'll do it for $95 a little pricey if you ask me but he seemed satisfied with it.  I canceled the mechanic called him back and told him we dont need him now.
