Ok, my mother in-law had taken her car over the weekend to the mall, and when she returned there was a big paint scuff left from a white car on her door (her car being dark gray).  There didn't seem to be any significant damage at all to her car (a volvo), aside from the other car's paint being left behind on her door!  Any suggestions on how to remove aside from taking to a body shop?  Huh  Heard people trying nail polish remover?  This really work safetly?  Huh

Easy with the rubbing compoud though, if you use it too hard or too much it will wear scratches or paint marks in the clearcoat.  Try using something like scratch-X or similar product first and small areas at a time to make sure you don't damage the paint.
