my current remote is shitting on me.  if i were to get a new one, would i feasibly be able to program it?  or should i just eat the cost of having a "pro" do it.

but within brands, will procedures differ from model to model?  those above instructions were from a forum and in regards to some sorta clifford 2-way alarm

what style remote you got? I can tell you how to do it reid if you tell me what the model number of your alarm is... its not that hard to do it, no need spend money to let a "pro" do it lol

thanks norm.  i think my alarm is a clifford 3.5 w/o remote start.  i think.  the remote that i bought is a 479/v/p/x, which says its compatible.  attached is the instructions that i am using, to no success.  fml.

yup thats how you do it, no need pay someone :-p... open door, turn key to on (dont turn car on) then press 7 times then again but hold it down on the 8th time, its gonna chirp 7 times then just press all the buttons... thats it
