what specifically do you want to know?

for starters,
ebay brands are just as good as the name brands.  unless you get projectors, a high/low beam option is worthless.  the 4300k bulbs give off the best beam.  you will not pass safety with HIDs

4300k HIDs will do the trick if youre looking for something brighter.  6000k should be the max you go.  anything more will only have the appearance of being brighter

I run 6K's for my headlights and fogs when I had my New Edge..I now run 6K's in my headlights on my fox and need to order the foglights now.  Thinking bout going with yellow for da fogs...

I also bought the Cheapest brand of HID kits on bay (30.00) shipped or something like that....still going strong.  Also it is the skinny ballast...

what are you trying to accomplish?  are you trying to get the brightest beam possible?  if so, dump the smoked headlight covers.

Okay..

this was my New Edge with smoked headlights and vinyl smoked tint on the fogs...

Even rocked the smoked vinyl tail lights...

6K really didn't do much going throught the smoke lights....when they were clear, they were perfect....after installing them with the smoked lights...buggah wasn't as bright.  Reid has the higher "K" rating in his, but like he says....it may be bright, but it doesn't help with seeing whats in front of you...

Plus the lights give off more heat...so that might be an issue as well..

DDMtuning.com is the place to get HIDs-slim 35W ballasts shipped to Hawaii for under 50 bucks, and a lifetime warranty-how can you beat that??  I had 5Ks in my Silverado, used em all the time and never had a problem.  I bought the Bullitt with some heavy duty-lookin set in the heads, when I swap them out for the smoked set thats in the mail I'll see what brand they are.

DDM Tuning is def the way to go though, all my old friends who rode street bikes swore by them and I know of 3 SUVs and trucks that have em now that I told the owners about the site, and they are all happy with theirs.

Just ordered 2 55w 8000k kits from DDM for the wife's vehicle and mine. I have the same kit on my Harley...great company, fast shipping, CHEAP and a lifetime warranty...can't beat it.

Old post but want to give another + for DDM Tuning.  I have these in the car and truck.  The ones in the truck have been going strong for almost two years now.  What I really like is the price and the fact it has low and high built in, so no issues with safety check.
