Hey I have the stock Fox Body turbine rims on my car, I am pretty sure they are 15"X7" I was wondering what is the best tire size to put on, I have stock 2.73 gearing in the rear and it is 5 speed. I currently have 225/70/15 and I would like to go wider but not sure if the rim is too narrow to go bigger but just seeing if anyone has any idea for me

235/60s would be perfect.   but with how cheap 17s are getting, I'd ditch those stockers and run some 17x9s and some 275/40s.

Gotta watch the clearance on the 1990 model.  LX not as bad as the GT for the
front tires.  The inner fender liner size changed in 1991 to accomodate the 16 x7
Pony rims.  You might get rubbing up front.

anything larger on a stock wheel might look cool but wont give you more/ better traction ( for lack of a better word) just added weight
