was a fun day at SCCA.
the course was pretty wide open, so could get on the throttle more.
and i got my door magnets.  so at least I look professional. Grin

this is my final run of the day.  time was 44.8 i think.  about the best i could do that day.
learned a few things to.  so was a productive test and tune.

this is Rick driving my GT.
what i got from him driving my Mustang was he sets up his turns getting him in line for the next turn.
always thinking ahead.
but seeing and doing are 2 different things.  so i gotta try to apply this next time.

Thanks for the vids..not to mention the tent.  how much time did you shave off from your 1st run to your last?  Funny how the Mopar guys had no chance against the mustangs.

supercharger + 22" wheels + crap tires = poor lap times.

i didn't even look at my time until the 3rd run
but from there i shaved off about 4 seconds
i was taking it easy to start to make sure i knew the course and figured where i could go faster.
the last time i ran, i was too concerned about going fast that i DNF'd 3 times so i had to go slower just to make the course.
i think i am cutting into the difference between me and the rest of our class.
although this course wasn't that technical, so if it were, maybe my time would be worse.
but i'm learning each time.  bottom line is its fun.
I hope more of us HPM'ers come out in the future.  you guys dont know what you're missing.

was talking to the guy with the procharged Challenger and he also has an old school big block Road Runner too.
the Mopar guys were very cool.  at least they came out and raced.

I had a 44.0xx in gavin's Mustang.  There were several places where my hand hit my knee with my left hand trying to turn left... I was that cramped in his car.  I fully believe that Gavin's car had a 41 in it.  I think I had a 42.xxx in Matt's car, which I fit better, but had a very hard time steering...  LOL  I'm spoiled, man!!!  LOL

I took Davin's Camaro out a couple time and snagged a 40.xxx but never really felt good for some reason.  I really wanna get back behind the wheel of my Impala.  I hate to say it, but driving all those cars made me really appreciate how well I fit in mine.  Now to find the money for new Rs before the driving school so the instructors can teach me in my own car.

great vidieos thanks for posting, I'm now officialy a stangzilla productions fan, no armchair quarterbacking here save that thier is no replacement for seat time, took me close to two full seasons begin to get a handle on the tracks and my car, wasnt till I switched to the r compounds that it even started to come together, we all went through the learning curve, best advice Rick ever gave me was to slow down and transition smoother, times got better after that, videos really brought back a hunger, thanks again, wish I could be there to cheer you all on, I'll definetly be looking for some CP class car to pick up when I get back home. Which would coinside with my sudden interest in Mustangs, it could happen. Best to everyone, thanks again for the videos, they rocked
