Here are some pics from my trip to the Shelby Factory and Mustang Depot in Las Vegas this past week!

My picture with Carroll Shelby!  Wink

LOL!  Actually my wife was wandering the parking lot with her cousin when she ran into Carroll himself!  I was in the gift shop and she ran over to grab me and he was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule to meet his "NUMBER #1 fan" as she told his assistant!  He was really nice and taller than i expected!

This is him driving away in his mustang golf cart stating!  "Well it's not as fast as a mustang but it'll do!"

More Pics of Shelby factory:

Pics From MUstang Depot in Las Vegas wtih This S197 premiered in Fast Fords this past month:

All in all great trip! Hung out with some friends, saw some cool mustangs, and even got to met Carroll Shelby!

Hey Mike, do they still have the sign in wall in the store? Did you sign it again?
Great pics and awesome you got a pic with the legend though I don't care much about for these namesake rebuilder cars...

Ya had a blast, especially gettign to meet Carroll Shelby.  Didn't go on the tour to sign the wall but had done that on a previous trip.  and gotta say my favorite mustang was the classic 67' Blue GT 500 in the Museum.  I spent 10 minutes just admiring it!  Thanks all!

Nice pics and great that you got to meet 'Shel as he is not there as much as in the past.  Looks good for an 88 year old multi-transplant recipient.  Those golf carts are available in various Shelby styles (GT500, Cobra, etc.).  They cost more than having SAI upgrade your Mustang into  GTC or GTS.

So which car did you order?

For the latest golf carts:

http://www.carrollshelbymerchandise.com/sporting-goods-golf-accessories-c-95_136/shelby-gt-500-street-legal-golf-cart-p-721

For the Cobra versions (under license):
http://cutecarts.com/cobraspec.cfm

They have had the F-150 Super Snake parts on special sale for some time if you want to do your own conversion.  The shop has only done a handfull of SS F-150 conversions.  They are done down the road at the Shelby Performance shop.  Shipping parts costs vs factory installation is a draw...
