Good stuff...   great link.

One of the biggest misconceptions we have to get over at autocross is dropping a car is the answer for cornering.  It's not.  Your suspension needs to "work".  The suspension as a whole needs to articulate in order to stay flat and hooked.  Us live axle folks are already at a disadvantage, but things like this make it alot better.

I was actually running TOO MUCH sway bar initially.  Keeping the rear end even with the car... once into the hard corners of SCCA, I would lift the inside tire and light them both up with any amount of throttle.  A softer Caprice bar helped a great deal...  that and learning how to control exit accelleration.

Cut?  WTF, man?  Why do that when you can heat them while their on the car and get the stance juuuuuust right.  That way the spring loses ALL of it's function and you never need a coil compressor.  LOL

IIRC, SVT did something similar with the '93 Cobra. "Softened the suspension" a tad which made the body roll a little more in corners and transitions, but the car did improve handling-wise compared to the 5.0 GT/LX.

I like the animations-I've had a hard time "visualizing" how some of that stuff works.  Very cool

Hope they're still not in business or at least started doing suspension mods the right way.  Did they ever blow up any shocks or struts doing that?
