I need help with my exhaust system for my 02 cobra
I recently bought me a pair of SLP loudmouth I
and i know that wouldnt be enough to make my stang sound sick.
I dnt want it to be SUPER loud, but i want it to sound like how a cobra should sound.

did you buy the LM1 shotgun resonators, or the catback?
do you want to do the whole exhaust: headers back?
you want performance or just sound? LT's for performance, shorties or stock manifolds are ok if you just want sound and dont want too loud.
but how a Cobra should sound is subjective. if you go o/r midpipe with the LM1, it will be pretty loud.
you should try the LM1 by themself 1st and see how you like that. and go on from there.

Those are lm1 just mufflers. Those should waken it up a lot. If don't want super loud then go with shorty headers, cat h-x pipe then lm1s

i was gonna say... ^^
just go to a few events so u can hear some different combos. imho slp loudmouths sound unrefined and obnoxious. its no wonder slp made exhaust for f-bodies for years before chevy pulled the plug on their pony car.

HAHA!! im such a newbie at this whole mustang thing.
I bought the mustang, and the guy told me its a 2002 cobra.
and the emblems were on the car, so i assumed it was a cobra.
hahaha. I mustve sounded dumb. but its all cool.
I can just try putting the LM1 mufflers first.
So me putting the LM1 would just be for sounds right? not for performance?
what would i need to do if i wanted performance?

I think its badged cobra but the drive train is GT. I think its a 02 GT with cobra badged

Sucks that the guy sold it to you as a Cobra. Any pictures of the engine bay? We'll be able to tell real quick if its a Cobra or not.
