alright v6er's, this ones for you.

soo my names ken, and awhile back i put in a intercooled p1sc into my 2000 3.8L v6 mustang. and now im about to put in a Long Rod 4.3L Stroker kit, with 'supersixmotorsports' stage 3 heads, p&p upper and lower intakes, performance cam, billet aluminum flywheel and a stage 3 spec clutch.

this is what i am starting with

this is what came in the mail

soo me and a friend, patrick agabin, started working on it last night, on the 16th. and this is what has been done so far.
total time working on it: 3 Hrs. (including the chow break)

we will continue the project tomorrow and i will post more pics on the progress. hope all u v6er's liked this.

alright soo day 2: total hours 4 (including the chow break)
woke up and moved the a/c compressor out of the way and drained the fluids from the car.

then... slowly... and painfully removed all 10 bolts from the trans and starter. then moved the trans down and back. (not sure if you can see the bad bearing, good thing i have a new clutch kit)

the big day 3: total hours 7 (including chow break)
double checked all harnesses and lines. and preparing to lift engine! oh and had to remove the head cover, just incase the chain put too much pressure on it, crushing it.

the time is getting closer

oh snap!

safe landing (u see our ghetto engine stand?)

wish i had an engine stand...

everything is everywhere

alright, soo after all of this was done i had to wait till monday morning to take it into the machine shop.  said they can get it done asap. don't know what asap is though. when i talked to them over the phone they said they could push it out in about a week, soo hopefully it gets done then. cause i leave to go back to camp pendleton on the 1st of january... and if it's not done then, that's ok i can come back next time and finish up the project. haha.

Sounds sweet. I'll keep my eye on this one. Really interested in the motor build.

Nice project.  Very different indeed...but hey, that's hot rodding.  But, HOLY BATMAN...that's a dirty engine bay you got there.  A little simple green and some elbow grease goes a long way.

Subscribing.
