does anyone have the comp SPR cams? I've listened to some on youtube didn't sound that great...i don't want a rough idle but id like it to sound good, plus give good power.

FRPP hot rods are a good safe and easy install but power wise the SPR are the best bet for max gains .
With that said i had the hot rods in my 07 and i loved them great sound, took about 3hr to install.

yea, but i figured if you get hot rods or detroit rockers your looking at around 20-30 hp if your lucky....you get the SPR and you could gain 40-50 with supporting mods. but your also spending another what 500-700 and you have to have the mods that support it. Plus the low end loss, and i have 3.73 so thats not gonna account much for the loss ill take down low...so yea i was leaning that way too. Thanks!

also the SPR will give you some more safe RPM's to about 6500 but there are some gents pushing it to 7000 but thats them if i would do it again i would get the DR they makie a little more power than the HOT RODs but like i said for sound hot rods or DR power comp's all the way and yes to see the full gain's of any of these bumps stick's intake, delete plates or intake mani, full exhaust  will get it done but also look at the power curve you get from each one sometimes it's not about the dyno number but where and when the power kick's in

well i bought the rockers and the guy i bought them from scratched them so he didn't feel comfortable selling them, kinda glad because i was talking to someone and they said if you're gonna get a whipple then DR will rob some of the power, and the blower DR are more for centris, so I'm gonna wait and get comp more than likely

depends where the scratched is but any which way good call, and yes if boost is the end game put a set of cams for the whip, plus full flow exhaust will help alot. Being able to run low boost and have free flowing air in and out will help alot to max out the stock block safely
