IWHO, It wouldn't count if the 2 cars were bracket racing ...

But, it's still a legit fast-ass-run,,, because the clock starts ticking when the car leaves the line... red light or not.

Yup...clock ticks when you pass the line, but the other guy get's through to the next round and he does not. Like I said before, he needs to work on his reaction times!

While it's true his reaction times were not the best I would not let that detract from his phenomenal accomplishment of running 5 seconds in a door car.  The number of things that have to be exactly spot-on correct to pull that kind of ET is astounding.  HUGE props to Rob Campese for a job WELL DONE!
