I have a 90LX with130,000 miles and am entertaining a crate engine.  I was thinking of getting the 306ci 340 hp Long Block from Ford Racing.  Is it a good deal at $3,900 shipped?  or is there a cheaper alternative with more horsepower?

Before dropping 4 grand on a motor, give a call to Chad at PM&E.  He may be able to rebuild your 5.0 with the same hp for cheaper or at the very least offer you some alternatives.

X2, chad does good work. I have one of his old 5.0 builds running strong. And he's building a 4v block for me now.

Thanks!  That sounds good to me.  I'll give him a call.  Is he listed in the phonebook?  PM&E is his business?
