I'm almost certain that LED headlights don't exist yet. Perhaps in the running lights, taillights, brake lights, but not headlights

They have LED headlights. They are 100% off road use only. Also, the lifespan on white LEDS that bright is minimal...so have fun paying that much for LED bulbs
But from what I've seen, they list LED headlights that are actually xenon HID...because most car guys are not electrical engineers...so they don't really know what they are buying....
Prime example, LEDs don't have a kelvin temp rating...or use xenon...
But, if you have the angel eyes ring, that is usually LED. So I'm sure that's what generates the confusion.

Umm...every single 1114 in my motorpool has LED headlights and we drive them on the roads... and some bikes come from the factory with LEDs...
And they put most HIDs to shame as far as clarity.

thats what i was going at. a listing for LED lights is more of a misnomer than it is the norm

^ I wouldn't trust those to produce very much useable light. The forward firing units in the HMMWV are nasty bright and seem to have a respectable beam pattern...

I don't think that was part of the op's question.

it wouldnt be true LED lighting if its just the bulbs. like HID lighting, you need a special projector unit unlike the scatter of the halogen housings. otherwise you'd be doing yourself a disservice and be pissing off the folks in front of you.

IIRC, Mercedes-Benz has a car with LED headlights (not just running/tail lights).
