SCCA is doing a Valentines Day Rally. Starts at the Stadium and goes into Hawaii Kai, this will be a timed event with pwnalties for being too fast or too slow. You need 2 people in the car one of which needs to be an SCCA member(or you can get a weekend membership for $15) Must have 2 people in the car, cost is $20 per car and we can sign up as a group or individually. For those of you who have never done a road rally you missed a fun event!!! Ann and I had a blast!!! If you can't follow directions to a T...don't try this!!!!!!!! We got lost and missed checkpoint 2 but ended up at checkpoint 3...Ha Ha Ha Ha then we raced over to checkpoint 4 and realized we were almost last! Enroute to checkpoint 5(final one) we skipped the round about way and drove straight to Hawaii Kai and managed to beat a few others in!!! Overall we got lost twice, made 2 wrong turns and still finished the rally only 5 miles over what should have been! Was fun trying to "Follow" directions!!!! You guys have got to try this next time! Stadium to airport, backtracked to halawa, over to kailua, onto Pali Lookout, Kakaako waterfront park, Waikiki and lastly to Hawaii Kai for lunch!!! AWESOME DAY!!!!!!!!!
