Damn, Jim has me beat... best I ever went was 9.46 @ 146 MPH.  At the time it was the quickest street-legal Mustang in the state but I've heard rumor of another Oahu racer running 9.4s in Hilo.  Maybe some day I'll run it again... but I'm also thinking about selling it to get a '67 fastback.

It'd take too much to make it a true cruiser.  I could make a list a mile long of all the things that would have to change to get any sort of longevity out of it.  By longevity I mean more than 10,000 miles between rebuilding things like the suspension and drivetrain.  The car "can" drive on the street just fine without overheating or anything... it's just that all the pieces aren't designed for long-term use and I'd be spending big bucks to tear it all down every year or so.

After going on 2 cruises and several Wendy's cruise nights I'm about SICK of pimpin' a stone stock F150 Sad

Where you in the red vette?  I think I saw you there.  Were you able to preregister or did you just walk in?  I'm trying to make it to the last one if life doesn't get in the way.  Looks like a blast.

i didnt have this car yet wen the tracks closed but for those of u who were there when she went up in flames =)  remebered my white GT with the white cobras, she went 12.0's at 106mph ... R.I.P i never got to dyno or drag my new fox.... but it does have a ford racing crate motor with E-cam and 30 lb injector, but no tune sadly... i wonder what it would make on hte dyno with a solid tune... with an AOD, what do u guys think?
