And it is going the way of high performance exotics with just paddle shifters and 10 speed auto.  No stick.

This is actually an amazing auto in track mode as it holds the revs at max toque (about 5250 rpm) as it goes up and down the gears in a microsecond.  After experiencing it in a 2018 Mustang GT on the Sonoma road Course, I am sold on it.  Takes awhile to learn the paddles if you want  to use them, but really no need.

Nope, still like my manuals and a lot cheaper at rebuild time.  Yeah the 10speed auto has a faster 0-60 and better for drag racing but with no track in our future and self driving cars, green utopia, and a choo coho that will save the Hawaiian kingdom from its impending demise, not to mention the 150k selling price after ADM, I'll pass.  The best deal out there with an X plan is a GT premium PP.  A Bullitt without the crazy markup, just add a blower and you're pretty much set....I'll take mine in Oxford White with red leather interior, in homage to my 1991 Fox that has probably gone off to a grunt thrashing.....I better stop before I weep.

True.  A new 460 HP Pony GT with track pack performance  and A/T at MSRP (ha, ha, ha) or better is an amazing cruiser for log jam traffic here with the hope of having a clear road for a few stretches sometimes.
