h and x are both a cross over.  they both connect the 2 sides of the exhaust.
usually the x is more raspy than the h.

I think a h-pipe will give it a more traditional sound to the era of the car.

but, will adding a h pipe make it less raspy than it is now?
now it has dual straight pipe.
it will probly make it more smooth sounding.
but less raspy?
