Hope this helps
I have a camera that I can change the Megapixel size. I set it to 1.2 MP take my pics then I use Microsoft Picture editor and crop the pics. It is then small enough to allow me to post Pics on HPM's website. Any questions just hit me up.

Good to have the high resolution although it does take up alot of space...keep the original and make copies to modify.
High res pics can be blown up better since the pixels are finer. When you blow up the low res pics (which I have since I am trying to take a lot of pics), it is totally of the bizzaro world.
