I have been working on this on another forum and now i moved it here. i have been collecting videos as i come accross good ones that give a good example of the exhaust sound.
This will be a work in progress. post your s197 exhaust vids and i will add it to the OP, and arrange it according to the mufflers. list your headers, midpipe and axle backs so we know exactly what it is. this should help in purchasing exhaust components.

There are 3 different types stingers which are the same as Borlas, and GTA's which are a little louder than stock. the KR mufflers have a deeper tone.

Boomtubes are straight through muffler deletes w/ a baffle inside much like resonators to refine the rough edge sound that straight pipes have, making for a more pleasant low rumble sound that is very loud.

this company makes mostly import exhausts for subarus and nissans. but it was cheap, it is all 304 SS, straight thru 3" catback. not too loud, deep and smooth sounding. i thinkg would sound pretty good with LT's and o/r x pipe.
