My truck is freakin out on me! I just bought her a month ago and haven't driven her enough to care about the speedometer needle, but here goes.....The needle jumps all over the place on anything above 35-40mph. I've read all over different forums about the speed sensor located in the rear diff (pumpkin) and just replaced it with a brand new one. The old one I pulled out looked pretty much OEM (nasty, rusty, dirty, oily, etc) The diff was rebuilt before I bought it. Actually, that was part of the deal.....The guy selling couldn't sell it cuz of the bad diff. It was rebuilt, put on Craigs, and I bought it. According to different forums, there are basically 3 things controlling the speedometer.....Rear diff speed sensor, Tone ring, and CPU (Guage cluster?).So....after replacing the speed sensor (easiest thing first, right?), the needle is even more erratic!Suggestions?Help!ThanksBJ Logged 2002 Saleen S/C Conv - Torch Red Print Pages: Go Up « previous next » Page created in 0.069 seconds with 21 queries.
