Members Bio: I was born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii a few years before the first Mustang was born. My passion for the Mustang began in high school when a classmate bought a 1965 coupe. A few years later, my older brother bought that same coupe and I had the chance to drive it. I knew then that I had to own one. I bought the 1965 GT in 1981 and finished the initial restoration in 1983. In 1989, I bought the 1989 LX from a new car dealer. Over the years, both cars have been a work in progress. I joined HPM in May 2008 and it's been such a pleasure to be a part of the HPM family.

Year: 1965

Interior/Audio mods: All stock

Engine mods:  Balanced 289 cid bored 30 over, Speed Pro forged pistons, Edelbrock Performer RPM cylinder heads, cam, intake and 600 cfm four barrel carb. Hooker stainless long tube headers, Magnaflow stainless 2 1/2" exhaust.

Exterior mods: Stock

Suspension/Brakes/Wheels:  Addco front and rear stabilizer bars, KYB shocks, stock front disc brakes with larger 10"X2" rear drum brakes, American Racing Torq Thrust-D 15"X6" rims with BFG P215/60R15 tires.

Drivetrain:  Ford Top Loader four speed transmission, Hayes clutch, Hurst shifter, 3.25 ratio 8" limited slip differential.

Interior/Audio mods: Grant GT steering wheel, dash gauge pod with Auto Meter vacuum/boost and fuel pressure gauges and Monster Tach w/ shift light.

Engine mods:  Vortech V1 A-trim HO kit with a 2.95" pulley, GT-40 intake, E-cam, Crane 1.7 roller rockers, GT-40 X-303 heads, 24lb inj, 73mm C & L air meter, BBK 70mm throttle body and EGR spacer, 190l/hr fuel pump, Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump, unequal length shorty headers, MAC O/R X-pipe, Magnaflow stainless 2 1/2" exhaust, MSD 6A. 

Exterior mods: Saleen body kit with Steeda rear wing.

Suspension/Brakes/Wheels:  KYB struts and shocks, BBK fixed rate springs, Granatelli adjustable rear upper and Megabite JR rear lower control arms, Addco front and rear stabilizer bars, five lug conversion, Cobra Front and rear brakes with Powerstop D/S rotors, 1999 Cobra rims with BFG P245/45ZR17 tires.   

Drivetrain:  FRPP World Class T5 transmission, FRPP King Cobra clutch, B&M Ripper shifter, 3.55 ratio 8.8" limited slip differential.
